| The Germans manufactured Ford trucks during World War Two for the armed forces. They were popular because of the reliable V-8 engine. Several factories produced Fords in Europe including the large Ford factory in Cologne, Germany. The model numbers were different than their U.S. counterparts, but they were exactly the same as the U.S. 1936, 1938, and 1940 model 1-1/2 ton trucks. |
